I’m a documentary wedding, family, and portrait photographer based in Central Illinois and I love making people feel comfortable and beautiful when I get behind a lens. Capturing photos of people is an intimate experience – one where I am invited to know them and help them interpret who they are for the rest of the world. It is one of the highest privileges I’ve received in this life.

What to expect

A Collaborative Relationship

Our time together won’t include a lot of direction for you to look at me and say cheese. What I hope is for us to come together and be free to be ourselves, as serious or silly as that is. It’s more than just a professional photo shoot, it is a relationship.

It’s about letting your love – for your family, your lover, your art, or yourself – show itself uninhibitedly. We are creating art from your memories – past, present, and future.

When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I'd like to know them. Anyone I know I photograph.
